Cosmic Physics is a comprehensive subject that includes investigations, both experimental and theoretical, of cosmic rays, the magnetosphere, sun-earth relationships, and extra-terrestrial sources of gamma, X-ray, and infrared radiation. In Italy, these investigations are carried out at CNR laboratories in Bologna, Milan, Rome, and Turin, at universities in these cities and at universities in Florence and Palermo. At present, most of Italy’s scientific contributions to international activity in the field of space physics are made possible through the efforts of these investigations. The School of Cosmic Physics can be a great resource for young students in this field of research, as it offers them comprehensive coverage of this vast subject and allows them to listen to and meet foreign experts working in the same field.
