Over the past decade, the study of exotic atoms has yielded many interesting results in particle and nuclear physics. Recently, the analysis of mesoatomic processes in matter has gained independent interest. The aim of this new trend (called mesic chemistry) is to use the specific properties of mesons to investigate the composition of substances and to study various problems in chemical kinetics. The aim of this School is to review various aspects of the physics of exotic atoms and to discuss possible developments in the field. The school is aimed at young theorists and experimentalists working in this field.
