Computers have rapidly gained a prominent place in the social, economic, and scientific aspects of our lives. The fields of computer science range from the purely mathematical aspects of programming and problem solving to the advanced technologies of building electronic components and computers, to the methods of linking computers and their facilities on a national, continental, and eventually global scale.
As the complexity of the subject increases, so does the degree of specialization. For this reason, it is important to offer people working in a particular field the opportunity to learn more about other related fields in which they are not specialists.
This opportunity is provided by the school. Each year, the school takes a detailed look at several related areas of computer science. Participants in the school will benefit from contact not only with internationally renowned faculty, but also with other participants who are themselves established specialists.
